Each softgel capsule contains:
Codeine Phosphate 10 mg and Glyceryl Guaiacolate 100 mg
Inactive ingredients:
Beeswax, Lecithin, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil, Soybean Oil.
Action
Codepect suppresses cough center and helps expectoration
Indications
For symptomatic relief of cough in upper respiratory tract infections.
Dosage
Adults: One capsule tree times daily or as directed by Physician.
Contraindication/Precaution
Dispense carefully in children less than 6 years old and adults with prostatic enlargement, adrenal or thyroid dysfunction.
To be given carefully when combined with phenothiazines, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, monoamine oxidase inhibitors, tricyclic antidepressants
Warning
Do not use for more than 7 days
Side effects
Drowsiness, Nauses, vomiting, constipation, hypertension and skin rashes may occur. However, if such symptoms occur, please consult your physician or pharmacist.
Storage
Store below 25°C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight.
