Bromhexine 8 mg Tablet is a mucolytic agent which reduces the thickness of sputum. It is used to treat conditions with abnormal mucus secretion such as a common cold, infections of the respiratory tract, influenza, etc. to allow the patient to breathe freely and deeply. It should be used with caution in patients with a known history of gastric ulcers due to the increased risk of severe adverse effects.
